NEM HOSTS CONFERENCE IN WASHINGTON D.C.

The last week in April, Jim Mathers, President of CES,  attended the National Energy Marketers Association (NEM) "National Energy Restructuring Conference" in Washington, DC.  The theme of the conference was "Renaissance in Energy Markets".  Several State Public Utility Commission Chairmen spoke very optimistically regarding the future of competition in their states.  The overall message was one of positive growth including the implementation of Smart Grid Technology.

Several key congressman and senators delivered presentations on diverse subjects, including Renewable Energy Technology, Nuclear Energy, and the overall direction of National Energy Policy.  Of particular note and coincidental with our mission statement, the New Consumer Bill of Rights was announced at the conference.

Here at CES we are gearing up to take advantage of the burgeoning markets across the country and we expect that 2010 will be our best year ever -  for us and for you.

Greetings!

Welcome to the first CES newsletter. I intend to send this newsletter out regularly and keep you updated on the trends in the energy business as well as letting you know what CES - as a team - is doing to improve our community.

We have been extremely busy this past year. In addition to making continued "highest evers" in our sales, we recently had to overcome significant adversity when our building burned down.  We were able to somehow not skip a beat and continue to produce.  I invite you to click here to read our CEO's perspective on the event and how we are now more productive than ever.

We also recently held the official Grand Opening of our brand new facility and it has afforded us the opportunity to enhance our customer service and operations to better serve you.

I want to thank you for your business and continued confidence in CES. I would love to hear from you, so please contact me if you have any questions or comments.

Sincerely,
Jim Mathers
President

Grand Opening
BIGGER AND BETTER THAN EVER
On April 30th 2010, we cut the ribbon on our new facility which is bigger, better and more able to service our clients.  On hand to help cut the ribbon and christen the new offices were Clearwater City Chief of Police Tony Holloway; Clearwater Vice Mayor John Doran (pictured above cutting ribbon); Clearwater Economic Development and Housing Department Coordinator Diane C. Hufford; Clearwater Economic Development & Housing Director Geraldine Campos Lopez; Kathleen Peters, Vice President Public Affairs from Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce; and many other representatives from businesses in the Clearwater area.

In addition to the fine food and drink, the event served to announce our activities and plans to support the community in their efforts to improve the quality of life for all citizens. As you will see, CES has chosen to support initiatives that educate our children in the fight against drug abuse.

Truth About Drugs
CES has become a sponsor of Foundation for a Drug Free World, a non-profit global organization whose purpose is to educate youth on the dangers of taking illegal drugs. CES has contributed financially and also worked with the Foundation to deliver workshops to schools and Law Enforcement organizations.

Last month, Jim Mathers delivered workshops to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office, students at the Admiral Farragut Academy and to various local Tampa Bay ministers.
