REUSE

Each year, Americans consume more than eight billion gallons of bottled water. But only 20% of the empty plastic bottles are recycled - the rest are discarded. Nikken developed PiMag Water Technology to bring you pure, clean, fresh-tasting water right from the tap. And by refilling the PiMag Flip-Top Water Bottle when you're on the go, you can save up to 150 bottles from winding up in our landfills every year. For a family of four, that's 600 fewer bottles polluting the earth over the next twelve months!

Nikken PiMag water products do not produce BPA
Reduce your exposure to this potentially toxic chemical

This week several news stories have revealed possible health risks related to bisphenol A, a chemical compound in polycarbonate plastics that may leach into drinking water. In animal studies, bisphenol A, or BPA, has been linked to changes in the hormonal system.

Polycarbonate plastic containing bisphenol A is currently found in some baby bottles, toddler sipping cups, water cooler bottles and food containers. One major manufacturer of drinking water bottles has announced that it will immediately stop using polycarbonate. A confidential report suggests that Canada is planning to declare bisphenol A a toxic substance under the country's environmental protection act.

Nikken PiMag water products are composed of ABS plastic (Aqua Pour) or low-density polyethylene (Flip-Top Water Bottle), not polycarbonate.

What can you do to avoid ingesting bisphenol A? Using a PiMag product with tap water instead of commercially bottled water will help minimize possible exposure to this contaminant.

As always, use these products only with municipally treated water or other supply known to be safe for drinking.
