Groundwork Lawrence is celebrating 10 years of making change happen in Lawrence!
Since 2001 GWL has supported Lawrence's redevelopment through multiple milestones. We've started construction of the Spicket River Greenway, built 7 community gardens plus 5 youth gardens serving 250+ gardeners, increased access to fresh food and areas to play and exercise, planted 590 trees, and pulled 115 tons of trash and 1,000s of tires from the river.
Your contribution enables GWL to continue improving Lawrence's neighborhoods, creating greener, healthier places to live, work, and play.
