COO's Message
It's that time of year again when our thoughts drift to summer activities including picnics, vacations, barbecues and higher gas prices. If you're like me, most of the summer weekends have already been booked solid leaving little precious time for just relaxing. Air transportation and hotels have been booked for the annual summer vacation with itineraries that would make cruise-ship entertainment directors jealous. Sometimes I wonder how our plans come to fruition. |

Technology Spotlight
Gaining a Competitive Advantage Through Quality Improvements
In order to continuously improve their products and processes, manufacturers are increasingly adopting quality standards such as Six Sigma and ISO-9000. In addition to reducing or eliminating product defects, these programs strive to detect problems during the manufacturing process. These in-process applications allow companies to prevent adding value to already defective projects - to stop wasteful practices as soon as possible.
