B) WINTER VISIT OPPORTUNITIES

We are pleased to offer Winter visit opportunities to current grade 12 applicants as well as grade 10 & 11 students both in your schools and on our campus. We will be visiting schools across Southern Ontario as well as out of province in British Columbia, Alberta, Quebec, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

If your school is outside these regions, we have an exciting new opportunity this year. We are piloting a virtual school visit program that will allow your students to hear a Ryerson presentation via a live webinar including Q&A.

D) SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

International students studying in secondary schools with a recognized Canadian curriculum are automatically considered for Guaranteed & Competitive Entrance Scholarships when they apply to for admission Ryerson.

E) OFFICE OF SCIENCE OUTREACH AND ENRICHMENT
 
Ryerson University's new Office of Science Outreach and Enrichment (OSOE) invites Grade 11 and 12 science and mathematics teachers to bring their classes to Ryerson for science and math enrichment activities. The OSOE offers hands-on and minds-on activities in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics.

All activities are supervised and developed with the Ontario secondary school curriculum in mind. Best of all, they are provided free of charge. The visit to Ryerson will include the science activity of choice, a campus tour and a pizza lunch.

ADMISSION UPDATES

Applicants who submit their complete application by the following dates are guaranteed consideration:
  • February 1 - Grades-Plus Programs
  • March 1 - Grades-Only Programs
Many programs will continue to accept applications beyond these dates. Program closures will be posted to the Applying to Ryerson section of our website.
 
G) CHOOSE.RYERSON.CA 
 
 
Ryerson continues to move towards a paperless admissions process.  Ensure your students access their Choose>Ryerson portal account to keep up-to-date on the progress of their applications. The portal is where students must view and download any admissions decisions or communications from Ryerson. 
 

 

H) APPROVAL GUIDE AVAILABLE ONLINE

The Fall 2012 Approval Guide is now available from our downloads page. This guide includes all of the steps a student must take after receiving an Offer of Admission in order to guarantee their spot in the program.

I)  GUIDANCE COUNSELLOR DAY:  FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2012
 
Ryerson is hosting our annual winter breakfast and professional development day for Guidance professionals.  Learn about the exciting expansions occurring on-campus, engage with dynamic professors from each faculty and tour our innovative labs and studios.

J) DISCOVER RYERSON: THURSDAYS, MARCH 8 & 15, 2012

 

A chance for students to explore Ryerson's campus, residences, and a program of their interest, as well as speak to current students, professors, admissions, athletics, and student services. 
 

Individual and Group registrations is available online. 

 

 

K) MARCH BREAK CAMPUS TOURS

 

Students who are unable to attend a Discover Ryerson event (above) are invited to attend an enhanced campus tour during March break, including an Admissions update and optional residence tour.

 

March Break Campus Tours run March 12, 13, 14, 16 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

 

Registration is available online.

 

L)  GENERAL CAMPUS TOURS

 

Winter General Campus Tours run from January 9 to April 13  weekdays at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.  

 

Register for individuals or class groups.
