B) STAFFING UPDATES

Effective November, we are pleased to announce that William Waugh will be the Acting Manager, National Recruitment during Marisa Modeski's maternity leave.  William has worked in Undergraduate Admissions and Recruitment for a number of years, involved with both Canadian and International recruitment. 

Marisa will be returning to our office in November 2012.

 

C) RYERSON IS VISITING

 

Ryerson's Road Warriors are visiting high schools across the province!   We will also be conducting visits throughout the winter and spring. If you'd like to book a liaison visit, contact our National Recruitment Assistant, Gavin Taylor-Black at gtaylorb@ryerson.ca.

D) OUF LAPTOP WINNER

A Loyola Catholic Secondary School Grade 12 student signed up for a Choose>Ryerson portal page at the OUF and won a laptop. She will claim her prize once she is registered at an Ontario university for the 2012-2013 Academic Year.

E) Ted Rogers School of Management Earns Prestigious Global Accreditation
 
Ryerson University's Ted Rogers School of Management has earned accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).  AACSB International is the longest serving global accrediting body for business schools that offer undergraduate, master's and doctoral degrees in business and accounting.

Only five percent of of the world's business schools have achieved AACSB accreditation.

 
ADMISSION UPDATES
Ryerson continues to move towards a paperless admissions process.  Ensure your students create a Choose>Ryerson portal account to keep up-to-date on the progress of their applications, programs of interest, and campus visit opportunities.  The portal will allow students to view and download any admissions decisions or communications from Ryerson.

Ryerson is hosting our annual fall breakfast and professional development day for Guidance professionals.  Learn about the exciting expansions occurring on-campus, engage with dynamic professors from each faculty and tour our innovative labs and studios

J) DISCOVER RYERSON: THURSDAYS, NOVEMBER 10 & 24, 2011

 

A chance for students to explore Ryerson's campus, residences, and a program of their interest, as well as speak to current students, professors, admissions, athletics, and student services.

K) THEATRE OPEN HOUSE: NOVEMBER 25, 2011

 

Prospective students interested in the Ryerson Theatre School are invited to attend our upcoming open house.  Guests will gain insight into the Ryerson Theatre School's three programs: Performance Acting, Performance Dance, and Performance Production.
