On January 11th, Tresa fell 15 ft while practicing her aerial work causing permanent injury to her spinal cord. Although paralyzed from the waist down, Tresa plans to continue her work teaching dance and aerial, choreographing and cutting hair. This may take some time and she will need financial support for ongoing medical expenses. Tresa was a founding member of The Movement Alliance Modern Dance Company and founder and current director of AirAligned Aerial Dance Group. AirAligned was chosen as the recipient of the 2010 Dr. Leland and Sally Lewis Performing Arts Award, which is presented annually by the Nevada City Chamber of Commerce. Tresa is a contributing member of The Center for the Arts in Grass Valley and has been instrumental in the growth of children's performance workshops held at The Center.
