CISM Certification Honors

CISM has been selected as a finalist in SC Magazine's 2012 Best Professional Certification Program category. It was also named a top five certification for 2012 by Information Security Media Group (ISMG).

Dear  ,

As the New Year begins, your local ISACA Board is planning the next four months of topics, training and networking opportunities.

But we want to make sure we provide you those opportunities that are most beneficial and of interest to you.  We listened to your feedback from our November meeting and decided to bring in an industry expert on Cyber Security for this month's meeting.

With that in mind, we extend to you an open invitation to contact your local Board members and offer suggestions for meeting topics, training classes and networking opportunities.

Perhaps you feel it's time for us to throw a family event or offer a CISSP boot camp at reduced prices.  Or you want us to bring in a specific speaker or plan a meeting around a specific topic.  Whatever your interest, we want to hear from you.

So when you have a moment, click on the link above and send us an email with your feedback.  We want to hear from you about how you want the next four months to be delivered.

We look forward to your feedback.

Regards,
President, ISACA Phoenix Chapter

Volunteer Opportunity

Would you like to get more involved with the ISACA chapter and get to know the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) local chapter too?  ISACA and ISSA are planning to hold a combined training event during the evening in late August or early September.  Shortly we will begin meeting jointly to plan this event, and ISACA needs two volunteers to help with the committee.  This is a great opportunity to network and give back to your professional community.  Voluntters will help coordinate the location, speakers, registration, and food.

If interested, or if you have questions, please contact Aaron Cook, Chapter Secretary.  Aaron will be the primary ISACA contact responsible for the event.

ISACA Membership Renewal Time

Just a reminder that you can now renew your ISACA membership.  To do so, access the ISACA site, sign-in, and then click on the RENEW button.
