Cloud computing has become an important emergent issue in business today. The focus is on controls and countermeasures that can be used in the cloud, but it also closely examines how to use the cloud to create value in systems. The book details the issue, why it is important to business, risks, why assurance is critical and how COBIT can help.

Dear  ,

We're excited to announce our first events of the new program year.  On September 22nd our bi-monthly chapter meeting will be an evening event where we will hear from Cindy Donaldson and Jeff Weekes with Terra Verde Services.  They will be talking about conducting a phased approach to PCI.  An invitation will be coming shortly, but please put the date on your calendar.

Our quarterly training event in September also offers a great opportunity for participants to increase their knowledge of COBIT and IT governance.

If you ever have any questions, suggestions, or concerns about your chapter, please feel free to reach out to me or any of the other Board members via email.

Regards,

Gail Ricketts
