CRISC recognizes a wide range of professionals for their knowledge of enterprise risk and their ability to design, implement, monitor, and maintain IT controls to mitigate such risk. Professionals 8 or more years of IT and business experience have until March 31, 2011 to submit application for the grandfathering process. After that, an exam must be passed (first exam is June 11, 2011).

We have several great training and networking opportunities coming up. On March 31st we have our bi-monthly chapter meeting where we will have presentations about evaluating cloud computing as well as business intelligence trends. We are very excited about our 3rd Annual Chapter Membership Appreciation Event which will be held on Thursday, April 21st at the PERA Club in Tempe. This is a FREE event and a great opportunity to network, learn about chapter activities, earn 1 hour of free CPE, and have a chance at winning some great prizes in a relaxed environment with food and drinks.
