- Lunch Session: Governance, Risks, and Compliance - Exploring the Uses of and Challenges of GRC Tools, by Paul Smeedegaard, Senior Manager, KPMG - Paul talked about how GRC can drive better performance, value, and brand and that business intelligence consolidation is a key. Actionable dashboards empower business units to better navigate the risk environment.
- Afternoon Session: Auditing and Securing the Cloud - Issues, Techniques, and Approaches with Auditing and Securing Cloud Computing Architectures and Services, by James Kernen, Manager, KPMG - James talked about taking advantage of the benefits of cloud computing - scalability, virtualization, and the design of service-oriented architecture - for auditing purposes.
