Greetings!
I hope everyone is having an enjoyable summer. The Phoenix Chapter had a great quarterly training event last month - ITIL v3 Foundations Course w/ Exam. Attendees were very complimentary of the trainer and the content, and we're very grateful for our Quarterly Training Events Committee. We have two upcoming events in September:
- September 16th and 17th - quarterly training event: Securing & Auditing VMWare ESX Virtualized Environments (see below for details)
- September 23rd - bimonthly chapter (details to come soon)
I would also like to direct members to ISACA International's new Web site. The new Web site provides additional capabilities such as a more personalized experience and information about the local Phoenix chapter. Quarterly Training Event - Securing and Auditing VMWare ESX Virtual Environments |
In this two-day seminar you will focus on VMWare's ESX security. You will start with virtualization basics, hardware virtualization considerations, and different versions of ESX. You will examine best practices of securing ESX severs, access to the management console, ESX logging, and other configuration issues to ensure your ESX virtual server hosts are secure and stable. You will tie all of these concepts together with the formulation of a suggested audit program of ESX and the virtual server environment.
Earn up to 15 CPE credits.
