Greetings!

The Factor10 Hamadang is just 4 days away and things are looking good for a great day. It's on this Sunday so please get your entry form in if you have not registered at this stage.

All belt levels, all ages and all experience levels will have a fun time.

I know there are many members who have not submitted their entry forms and who have expressed a real interest to compete at the next Hamadang Technical Tournament.

The Hamadang is just fantastic for the development of confidence, for focussing on personal excellence, for having fun, for giving the Martial Arts training a fresh focus, and above all a real entertaining event families can attend to support their children or partners.

This family support of taking the time to come and watch family members participate is a great expression of interest in your loved ones and in itself shows real personal giving on your part.

Don't let a hectic weekend or a busy schedule get in the way of doing something special for family. They'll really appreciate you taking the time to come and watch them perform and also for encouraging them to do so.

Red Belts - Hamadang a Must!

The Hamadang is probably the most important single performance opportunity that anyone can participate in when working towards a black belt.

The Poomse Board Breaking events are all part of the black belt grading requirements and provide a perfect opportunity for developing black belters to test their ability to perform under a little pressure.

The other events in the Hamadang are just fantastic for the honing of Martial Arts skills as well.

I have noticed there are many red belters who have not yet registered - please get your entries in soon for a great day of development towards black belt.

Hamadang a Confidence Builder - Parents Need to Read This!

Parents - take the time to read about this!

We all know the saying that "success builds success". Well there could be nothing more accurate when it comes to having a go at the Hamadang Technical Tournament.

Every person should attend the Hamadang with a single goal that is processed focussed - a goal something like "I want to try to perform my Poomse with confidence and strength".

This is what we call a process focussed goal, not an oiutcome focussed goal. And like with anything in life, if you focus on the process goals we do not focuss on the "win/lose" outcome, but rather we focus more on the extent to which we achieved the goal and steps we can take to improve in the future.

So this weekend, set yoruself a process focussed goal and strive for excellence.
