| Greetings!
What a HUGE week at our Academy. I would have to say one of the biggest on record. It started with our first ever Yellow Jacket Tournament on Sunday and then on Wednesday night our Demo squad performed over on Tangalooma Island in front of 150 visitors from overseas and interstate.
I absolutely know that the Yellow Jacket Tournament was a great success and I have been told by our Instructors that the Demo team did an outstanding performance on Tangalooma. I am extremely proud of everyone who gave either of the events their best and if you missed out this time try and make sure you are involved next time.
A huge thank you to all volunteers who assisted at both events. Please take the time to thank these people personally because without them your child would not get the chance to participate in these extraordinary events.
If you would like to assist with any of the officiating jobs at the next tournament please let us know- Parents are most welcome.
We will be naming an F10 Talent ID sparring squad very soon. This squad will be invited to train together and prepare for some higher level competitions both Inter club and Interstate or International in the following 12 months. Details will follow shortly.
I was so excited yesterday to begin handing out some of the first Yellow Jackets to our winners. I will not name everyone today however I am very happy and proud to say that it was extremely difficult to decide the winners given the great spirit displayed by everyone on the day, however we were able to narrow it down to one Little Legend, One Yellow/Blue belt Junior -Alex Broad, one Red belt junior, one Teenager- Jay Saunders, and one Adult. the remaining winners will be announced in next weeks email!!
Lastly read below and find out about the special Black Belt training session being held for all Black Belts on Saturday 12 September.
Join us in our journey of success!!
Yours in Martial Arts
