Greetings!

Hi there! Well I am just so excited by the look and feel of our Academy as we make the transition into our new brand - Factor10 Martial Arts.

I hope you don't mind I've taken the liberty of putting our new logo on the top of this E-Newsletter. As you know we are working towards 1 July being our transition date, after which we will not use the old logos and badges any more.

From 1 July we'll have the new signage in place, everyone will be wearing their new badges (and uniforms if you have purchased one) and our website will have the new look. Actually we've already started making some website changes and this is to make sure we stay on track for 1 July.

I hope you have had a chance to read my weekly printed Factor10 Launch updates at the Academy - I have written two now, with the third coming out next week. I am having trouble containing my excitement and have already written next weeks!

So how many will I write? At least 10 of course! Anything with the Factor of 10 works well ... so maybe I'll write 100 ... or 1000! Who knows where this might lead?

Technical Tournament - Please Register Now!

I am often asked, "What can I do as a parent to maximise my child's interest in the Martial Arts, so they don't get bored and stay interested in this wonderful sport?".

Here is a wonderful opportunity to do just that and it will also help to set your child up for success for black belt and beyond.

This is an absolute MUST to help students maintain their motivation and development.

Imagine being a soccer player and training but not playing a game of soccer. As a marital artist you need to give your training and goals a sense of purpose by "playing" at the Technical Tournament this weekend.

This is great preparation for higher level grades leading up to and including black belt. Just Do It! Stay and watch your child do some great Martial Arts stuff ... they'll be talking about it for days.

You can register up until this Friday night so please do not hesitate. If you are really stuck for time, just email now to get your name in - we can nominate your child in the events we think would suit if this helps you.

Volunteers Needed - No Experience Necessary

We are desperately in need of support for volunteer officials for this Sunday's technical tournament.

Members of all belt levels, mums, dads and friends are needed.

Training is provided so please have a go as we need judges and marshalls for all areas. No experience in Martial Arts is necessary.

Factor10 - Strong Brand - Future Oriented

You've probably noticed that there has been a new name in the wings for some time - Factor10 Martial Arts.

This name has been posted on the Academy website, talked about for the last 2 years at Christmas Party and Awards nights, written on grading syllabus documents and chatted about at our staff admin and instructor meetings.

Well I'm excited to announce that July 1 will be the launch date for this "re-branding" . Click here to read on ....
