Greetings!

Days are ticking past in the lead up to the biggest event of the year. Our Annual Christmas Party and Awards Night. It is a really great social night and a chance for us all to share in some great performances by our students.

Tickets have gone on sale at reception and you should have by now received an invitation with a tear off slip on the bottom. We have already sold over 200 tickets and sales close Friday 28th so that correct catering can be arranged.

I have had a few questions regarding the meal- we will be serving steak, chicken, sausages and vege burgers(for those of us that don't eat meat) as well as a couple of salads and Bread Rolls. Oh and don't forget the desserts!!!

A huge congratulations to two of our students- Gordon McKenzie and Tania Grech who participated in the Pan Pacific Masters Games a couple of weeks ago. Gordon won Gold and Silver and Tania won two gold medals. How good is that!!

Our new Neighbours - GO WILD!!

Many of you have been enquiring about the new business opening next door. It is apparantly Australia biggest indoor play centre for Children up to the age of 12. It opens this Saturday 29th November.

How does it affect us??

1. We are going to set up an arrangement for our parents to be able to take younger brothers and sisters in there during classes for a reduced rate.
2. They will have full Kitchen facilities with Food and Coffee available to our Parents. There is no cost to enter and purchase from the shop
3. A loyalty system for our students to attend their facility at other times.

Fiona and I both believe that it will be very exciting for our club and can only assist to generate interest in our own facility.

Gym Equipment and Computer Desks for Sale

We are selling all of our Gym Equipment in order to make more room for our students at the Academy.

If you are interested in putting in an offer see Fiona or leave your bid at the reception. We are hoping to have it all gone by Christmas. If we have received no offers we will sell it on Ebay.

We are also selling our two office/computer desks. If you would like to have a look and make an offer see Fiona or Damien.

Demo Squad

by Damien O'Flaherty		Our Demo Squad is hard at work finalising its performances in the lead up to the Christmas party with extra training sessions this Sunday and next Saturday. We look forward to seeing the final product.

Pan Pacific Masters

Pan Pacific Masters

Congratulations to Gordon McKenzie and Tania Grech on their results at the Pan Pacs recently.

Gordon took out a Gold and a Silver Medal in two different divisions in Sparring, losing only to a very experienced 6th Dan Head Instructor from Victoria.

Tania took out two gold medals in both her events- Sparring and Poomse.

A big thank you to Steve McKenzie for coaching at the event- (Yes Steve got to tell his Dad what to do!!! How cool is that!)
