| Greetings!
A special welcome to all of our new students and their families. I get so excited when I know that students are joining our Academy to make some sort of change to their life. For some it is exercise, for others it is to gain confidence or skills in Self Defence.
What ever the reason for starting we just know that we will make a difference to your lives in a very positive way!!!
Great to see so many students have entered our sparing competition this Sunday. Remember this is the last sparring comp for the year so if you haven't got your form in and you would still ike to compete see us urgently as we have almost completed the draw. We really encourage all students from White to black to give these opportunities a go.
Our demo squad is ready for a very busy week at the Ekka with 7 performance across four different days. If you get the chance drop by the international stage and support them. Details are on our noticeboard at the club. Have a great time!!
On another note, our Demo team is getting stronger and stronger and performing at some of the biggest fetes on the north side of Brisbane, however there are some significant cost associated with performing the shows, mainly in the form of timber boards and tiles. We are currently chasing a sponsor of the demo team to assist with covering these costs. If anyone has any contacts that could either help with cash donations or materials (timber/Tiles) please contact one of the staff at the club.
Don't forget we are closed on Monday for the Ekka Public Holiday.
