Academy Weekly Fly Around
Friday 18 April 2008
Sorry, can't keep up with the days at the moment.  It has been two weeks since I did the last newsletter.  Time just got away!!  I  have been to Melbourne with Matt Fien.  He performed extremely well, narrowly missing out on a Gold medal and selection in an Australian team.  He went down by two points to the gold medalist and came home with a Silver Medal.  In his words - "I have never been so nervous"

It was his first selection event for an Australian team so we are all very proud of his achievements.

Black belt grading has come and gone with 10 students grading for different black belt grades- ranging from Cho dan Bo to 4th Dan.  The technical standard was as high(or higher) than anything you will see in any club across the country!!!
Congratulations to all.

Remember that we will be closed for Anzac Day next Friday.

Have a great week.
