How many of you have read through the entire Bible? Many people don't open there Bibles until Sunday Mornings. This is a big concern and to tackle this problem Martha Road Baptist Church will be offering a video series called

Read the Bible for Life

 beginning on

Sunday September 11th from 5-6pm.

The class will be for 10wks. If you are interested in attending, please call the church office or on Sunday check the box on the back of the information card.

This will be a day for our church to blitz the community with servant hood mission projects. You can participate as a small group, Sunday School Class or family.

Projects will be pre-selected and assigned the day of event.

If you are interested please mark the Big Serve Day box on the on your information card.

The first 25 people to show up  to help

 will receive a free T-shirt!

•  Did you know most Americans have been to church, and yet only 20% are regular attendees.
•  Did you know 82% of the unchurched are likely to attend church if invited by a trusted friend or relative.
•  Did you know that only 2% of church going people invite someone to church.
•  That means 98% of church-goers never extend an invitation in a given year.

Can we change that this year?

 Back to Church Sunday will be on September 18th, all you will need to do is ask a friend or family member to attend worship with you on this day. Make it easy and grab a Back to Church booklet on the way out the door today and give it to someone to invite them to church.

On September 18 from 1-4pm a New Members Seminar will be held. This seminar is open for all new members and anyone wishing to know more about our church. Childcare will be provided during the seminar. The seminar will cover the history, mission, and vision of the church. Lunch will be provided. Sign up on Sunday on the back of the information card or call the church office.
