Attention All
Children's Ministry
- The Children's Ministry needs to enlist 12 volunteers who can serve in our children's church during our 11:00. If we are unable to enlist enough volunteers for this ministry we will no longer be able to offer it after August.
- We are also in need of 2 teachers for an additional 1st & 2nd grade Sunday School class.
If you are willing to serve in either area please call the church office, contact Beth Roberts or on Sunday indicate it on your information card.

On August 28th from 3-6pm a New Members Seminar will be held at our church . This seminar is open for all new members and anyone wishing to know more about our church. Childcare will be provided during the seminar. The seminar will cover the history, mission and vision of the church. Read the Bible for Life
Class Sunday Evenings
How many of you have read through the entire Bible? Many people don't open there Bibles until Sunday Mornings. This is a big concern and to tackle this problem Martha Road Baptist Church will be offering a video series called
Read the Bible for Life
beginning on
Sunday September 11th from 5-6pm.

Back to Church Sunday
Simply Invite
- Did you know most Americans have been to church, and yet only 20% are regular attendees.
- Did you know 82% of the unchurched are likely to attend church if invited by a trusted friend or relative.
- Did you know that only 2% of church going people invite someone to church.
- That means 98% of church-goers never extend an invitation in a given year.
Can we change that this year?
Back to Church Sunday will be on September 18th, all you will need to do is ask a friend or family member to attend worship with you on this day. Make it easy and grab a Back to Church booklet on the way out the door today and give it to someone to invite them to church. |

Big Serve Day
Your Help is Needed
Join us on Saturday September 17th for the Big Serve Day.
This will be a day for our church to blitz the community with servant hood mission projects. You can participate as a small group, Sunday School Class or family.
Projects will be pre-selected and assigned the day of event.
If you are interested please mark the Big Serve Day box on the on your information card.
More information will be released as the time approaches. As a side note, if you know of a project or a person that needs help please let the church office know, maybe that need can be a
part of the Big Serve Day.
