Sunday School Changes...
Beginning this month all teachers from 1st - 6th grade will be escorting their students into the sanctuary at the end of the Sunday School hour, where they will wait for their parents to pick them up. This will done to help reduce the noise in the fellowship hall while adult classes finish their class time.

This month we are spotlighting Mrs. Sherri Webb. Sherri is married and has two children. She currently coordinates our children's church and her husband also serve in this minsitry as well. |

We Need Your Help!
Nursery
Volunteers are needed in both our nursery rooms for both worship services and Sunday school hour. So whether you enjoy loving on sweet infants or playing with energetic toddlers we have a place for you to serve. We also ask that our parents, who regularly use our nursery ministry, to volunteer for our rotating nursery schedule. If you would like to volunteer please see one of our
Preschool Minstry Team Members.
Children's Church
Volunteers are also needed for our Children's Church which occurs during the second service. If you are interestd in volunteering for children's church please see one of our Preschool Ministry Team Members. |

Mark Your Calendars
August 3rd: AWANA Volunteer Meeting @ 6:30pm
August 7th: Movie Night @ the church starting at 5pm
Nursery will be provided for birth thru 2yrs of age, a seperate movie
will be available for 3-6yr olds, and Soul Surfer will be offered
for all other ages. If you plan on attending please contact
the church office for your free tickets.
August 14th: Back 2 School Bash from 5:00 - 7:00pm
This event is open to all children who will be starting
Kindergarten thru 6th Grade!
August 17th: AWANA Kickoff Party starting @ 5:55pm
August 24th: First offical night of AWANA starting @ 5:55pm

Reminders For Parents
Nursery is provided for children ages birth thru 2 years of age. As your child approaches 3 years old we ask that you work with them on transitioning to the Worship Service or Children's Church.
Children's Church is offered only during the 11:00 servce for children
ages 3-5. As your child approaches 6 years old we ask that you work
with them on transitioning to the Worship Service
We now offer children's worship bulletins for three different age groups: Preschool, Younger Children, and Older Children. The bulletins can be found in the welcome area. There are also crayons and pencils for
your child's use, however, we ask that they be returned to the basket
after each use.

The AWANA kickoff party will be August 17th
starting @ 5:55pm. Plan on attending so you and your children can meet their teachers and fellow clubbers.
AWANA offically starts on August 24th @ 5:55pm
Be sure to invite your friends!

Kids on a mission
Each month there will be a new mission.
Will you choose to accept it?
Kids ages 4-11 can find their top secret mission envelope in the welcome area at the beginning of each month.

June AND jULY'S mission. |
