Community Prayer for Rain

The Community  is joining together in Prayer for rain at  the Jackson County Courthouse by flag poles each morning beginning  next week  July 18 thru Friday July 22nd  at 7:30 am.  Various churches and ministers will lead each morning and Kevin will be leading  the prayer on Tuesday morning  July19th, please come and participate.

Church Wide Lunch after service.
 Tim & Libby are no strangers to Martha Road. Join us this Sunday July 17th to listen to  Southern Gospel Christian Music. After the service we will have a church wide lunch to fellowship with Tim and Libby and our fellow church attenders.

• · Be at the church at 6am to leave the  church @ 6:30am on Friday, August 5th for "Mission Y.E.C"
• · Arrive home at the church on Saturday, August 6th between 8pm and 9pm.
• · Cost $40 per person  (Includes: Hotel, Y.E.C ticket, and lunch on Saturday)
• · Student's will need be responsible for money for 4 meals plus any merchandise they choose to purchase.

Vacation Bible School Parent's Night
Big Apple Adventure

We have had an awesome time this week with VBS  and we would like to invite tonight to join us for parent's night at the church at  6pm. Bring your and come and  listen to our kids as they sing songs and perform a skit about VBS the Big Apple.   Afterwards join us in the fellowship hall at the church for hot dogs and coke floats!                              

Habitat for Humanity

Student Ministry

Are you hungry? The Student Ministry will be serving the Habitat for Humanity lunch on Tuesday July 19th at the  Altus Community Center  from 11am to 1pm. Cost of the meal will be $6 per person, if you are unable to attend but would like to place an order please you can call 481-0159 and your meal will be delivered to you.

Church Wide Pot Luck Family BBQ
Saturday July 30th 5-:30 - 8:30pm 

 Attention all families at Martha Road Baptist Church and friends, are you looking for some fun with the family? Mark your calendars for Saturday July 30th from 5:30 to 8:30pm for a church wide family barbeque. The church will provide hot dogs and families are asked to bring food items that are needed.( a sign up sheet is located in the welcome area) So come and join us for some family fun, family games and of course food!

VBS

Mission Project
 As part of this year's VBS mission project we are asking for new kid backpacks to be donated during the month of July. The children will be assembling backpacks filled with school supplies at the beginning of August to give to other children in need before school starts. If you are able to donate a new backpack, please bring it to the church office during the month of July. Thank you for your support! 

We are looking for enthusiastic people to help minister to our youngest church  attenders in our nursery rooms and Children's Church. So whether your passion is to love on tiny babies or play with energetic toddlers we have a place for you to serve.
