 It's an exciting time here at MRBC. It is once again time to have a new directory made! Below you will find helpful information needed. If you have, any questions don't hesitate to call the church office.

If you don't have access to the Internet, call the church office at 482-3377 or look for the table on Sunday Mornings in the Welcome Area to schedule your appointment.
Remember there is no commitment to buy any of the pictures. We want our families to be a part of the directory. Families who are photographed for the directory will receive a FREE 8x10 picture just for participating.

| Men's Chili Supper |
| MRBC will be hosting the annual Men's Chili Supper that will be held on Monday, February 7th at 6pm. Guest speaker will be Keith Burkhart, Men's Ministry Leader from the BGCO. This event is free to all of the guys, but we do ask that you bring a crock-pot full of either chili or stew. In addition to bringing food, don't forget to invite a friend! |

These are Volunteer Teaching Positions that need to be filled:
- AWANA; Puggles Teacher beginning in January
- 1st & 2nd Grade Sunday School Teacher position has been open since November.

| Business Meeting Highlights |
|
The Deacon Ministry recommended that Brad Webb and Mickey Reeves, who have been ordained as deacons at other churches be included in the Martha Road Deacon Ministry. A church wide vote to approve this recommendation will be taken by ballot vote on Sunday morning February 13.
A motion was made and approved to select a Worship Leader Search Team by a nomination ballot on Sunday morning January 23. Each member may nominate by ballot up to five individuals they feel should serve on this Search Team. If you are willing to serve on this team, you can inform the church office and your name will be mentioned prior to the nomination process.
A motion was made and passed to purchase a used 15-passenger van. The van will be purchased by setting aside 20% of the church offering until $20,000 is collected for the purchase. Individual donations can also be made to thy Van Fund. Blake Jackson, Rodney Dunn, Mickey Reeves and Gene Ford were selected to serve as the purchase committee.
A motion was made and approved to redesignate Don Sevedge from Minister of Education to Minister of Education Emeritus. This designation is an honorary title given to recognize Don's pastoral and ministry service in our church and other Baptist churches he has served for over 30 years. A future ceremony will be scheduled to formally make the designation.
