Try a New Neighborhood: If you're willing to stay just a subway stop or two from Manhattan, you will find incredible savings! Brooklyn and Queens are wonderful options, with their own great neighborhoods, restaurants and sightseeing plus interesting shops, galleries, and museums.

Look for Value Added Amenities: Stay at hotels that offer included amenities like breakfast, free wi-fi and other perks.  That can save you up to $50 - $100 a day, or even more in some cases. 

Leave the Car At Home: When it costs $30 - $50 per day to park, it  can really drain your budget-- plus fuel and tolls. Opt for public transportation, airport shuttles, private cars and taxi cabs.
