September 2008
Dear ,
Thank you so much for all of the positive feedback you have sent us about the new website. We are delighted with it and hope you have found it useful and informative as well.
New York Guest is in the process of creating several new travel packages for the fall and winter, and we are adding more content to the web everyday, so keep an eye out for some exciting travel deals! |

The Heat... What's hot now? The inside of Shrek's Broadway costume! It takes over 2 hours for actor Brian d'Arcy James to don his full Shrek outfit, complete with prosthetics and plenty of green makeup. Shrek the Musical opened to rave reviews in Seattle last week and is making its way to Broadway later this fall. Previews start November 8th for a December 15th opening at the Broadway Theatre. Tickets are on sale now, but performances are sure to sell out for this audience favorite. Contact New York Guest to get your Shrek and other Broadway tickets! |
What's Tasty... Oysters! A not-to-be-missed event is right around the corner: On September 27th join us at The Stone Street Oyster Festival happening in Lower Manhattan. Celebrate the oh-so-tasty bivalve at this all day outdoor event. Make sure you try the local favorite, Blue Point Oysters, harvested in nearby Long Island. While you're not slurping down oysters, watch the oyster shucking
competition, where chefs compete in a race for the title of New York's
finest Oyster Shucker. Festivities kick off at noon hosted by Ulysses Bar, and will surely continue on until late in the night. 58 Stone St., near Hanover Square |
Package Special... Give thanks in NYC! Autumn is a great time to visit our beautiful city, and a trip over Thanksgiving weekend is an unforgettable way to celebrate this all American holiday. Kick off the holiday season by joining other families who make Thanksgiving in New York a tradition: enjoy a wonderful holiday dinner (with no dirty dishes for you to clean!), see the city all dressed up in holiday lights, and start your holiday shopping with this package we have created with our friends at the historic Algonquin Hotel.
