Yes!
It'shere! The Rounders 4th Annual Chili Cook Off this Saturday, February 4th at Ferg's Sports Bar & Grill from 1-4PM. A great time to support a great cause!
Remember why you joined the Rounders? The fun, the camaraderie, the MUSIC! A portion of theproceeds from this fund raiser go right back into the music in the form of band camp scholarships. The kids we support now could be Rounders of the future andwe need your support to help make it happen!
All you cantaste chili are available at Bringe Music through Friday or $10 at the door.
We'llhave prizes, raffles, music and more! Bring your friends, join your friends andhave a great time for a great cause! Kick of the season THIS SATURDAY with us at Ferg's in St. Pete!

The Marriott Waterfront and Holiday Inn still have Rounders rooms. Please call them direct (details on the link above). We need you to commit, now! February 1st is our last date to guarantee published rates! See the Rounders Savannah Page link above!
Lee Lafleur has a few inquiries about roommates already that he will coor dinate and match. If you have a room and are looking for someone to share, or are looking for someone with a room, contact Lee at lee@lafleur.us. Lee will be contacting all that inquired later this week!
We understand that quite a few of us are taking our own transportation to Savannah . Being said, there are 100 seats on the buses FIRST COME FIRST SERVED. Your Rounders need to make a commitment (we have deadlines!). Parking at the Inn is $10.00 per day.
Sign-up and pricing for the bus is on the Rounders website...at the Rounders Savannah Page link. These are Trailways buses (not school buses), and yes, they do have bathrooms!! The pick-up location is First Baptist Church at 1900 Gandy Blvd in St. Petersburg. We will be allowed to park our cars there as well. February 1st for sign-up!
One of the highlights of our trip remains the Savannah Riv erboat Cruise. Scheduled for Friday night, this festive dinner cruise will leave the Savannah riverfront with a check-in at 6PM, sailing at 7PM, and a return to the docks at 9PM. Our special menu includes: Signature River Queen Shrimp & Grits, carving station with beef top sirloin & citrus marinated boneless pork loin, peel & eat shrimp display, herb roasted chicken, seasonal vegetable, assorted fresh salads, fresh fruit display, and an assortment of desserts. Rounders prices: $65.00. Sign up is available at the Rounders Savannah Page link. February 1st for sign-up!

Please...come to your first rehearsal all "signed-up" and registered. Unlike previous years...we're looking to conclude registration prior to rehearsal start and NOT at our first rehearsal. Very, very important!!
To Register Please:
1."Log in" to the Rounder web site - www.SecondTimeArounders.org (login at bottom right of home page)
2.On the Member Menu: print 3 documents (letter, calendar, registration)
3.Check that all the information "pre-populated" on your Registration Form is correct (write any changes ON the form!)
4.Sign your Registration/Release Form
5.Decide on a donation - Check or online payments (PayPal or credit card)
6. Mail your form and donation to:

About the recommended Rounders donation:
In order to help support the life of this organization, please include a recommended donation of $25.00 (or more if you care to or can) with your registration.
Your donations support your Rounders season activities and help pay for items such as postage, printing, meeting supplies, website hosting, insurance, facility rental for rehearsal, professional fees, instrument repair, regulatory filing fees, etc, etc.
We simply cannot survive as an organization without your help...so thank you in advance for your support!

Raise a few dollars and have fun too! It's the Rounders "First Friday Beer Pouring" with proceeds from the evening going to your favorite adult marching band (or us...! J).
Friday, March 2nd on Central Ave between 2nd and 3rd Streets. Two shifts - 5:00 to 7:30 and 7:30 to 10:30. We'll need double the number of people for the 2nd shift, than the 1st.
