Greetings!
With a "slight chance" of rain in the forecast on Parade
day...PLEASE pick up a clear plastic rain poncho, and if you can, pick up a few extras for Rounders who can't, to wear over your uniform on Friday. These are typically a dollar or two and can be found at most any Walgreens, CVS, or Wal*Mart store among other places. Again...if you can, please purchase an extra or two to share on parade day!
Also, pack a few "newspaper bags" if you subs  cribe for wrapping smaller instruments in if necessary. If you have access to a handful of these, please bring a handful!
Another suggestion recently made is to pack your Rounders uniform: Pants, shirt, hat, shoes, belt, and sox, in a carry-on bag. Should "disaster strike" with the airlines, and a bag is delayed or lost, you'll still have the opportunity to march on Friday!
Speaking of uniform:
Musicians:
· White, unmarked Keds (sneakers)
· Navy blue "Docker style" pants that match the color of your hat - important!
· Black belt (not tan)
· White, clean and not faded Rounder shirt
· Long-sleeved shirt: same color white as the band shirt as option to wear under your Rounders shirt if cold
· Rounders hat must be original "blue" - not faded or marked
· Pins (optional, not required): Rounder pin on right collar, Calgary pin or the left collar. Please...no other pins on your uniform of fanny pack!
· Rounders Fanny Pack free of pins (no other fanny pack allowed)
And, of course, your instrument, unless already en route!
