ROTARY AMBASSADOR SCHOLARS
ATTEND ANNUAL THANKSGIVING LUNCHEON

Both Ambassadorial Scholars are here for 1 year to study at the Joan B. Kroc School, Peace & Justice Studies. They are co-sponsored by Rotary Clubs in their country and Clubs here in San Diego, Distinct 5340. They are here to study and learn about different ways to handle conflict and resolve issues.
Both issues are especially critical in their countries where violence is usually the first course of action vs. alternate methods. They wore their native clothing and made a presentation about their countries, customs and challenges. The luncheon was well attended and guests enjoyed a southern style Thanksgiving meal.
