 ACCION San Diego will discuss how it provides financial assistance, business support and resources to low-to-moderate income, self-employed men
 and women in San Diego County.  Whether you have a small business or
thinking about starting one Accion' can help.

Jessica van der Stad, Part-Time Resource & Sustainability Manager
Ms. van der Stad joined ACCION in March 2009 to work on client capacity building and technical assistance as well as organizational resource development. She posses a love for working with volunteers and hopes to grow and strengthen the ACCION volunteer program. She holds a Bachelor's Degree from Azusa Pacific University with a major in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication and a minor in Psychology. Her passion for non-profit work and micro-finance developed while traveling and studying internationally as a student.

ACCION San Diego is a non-profit organization striving to bring economic opportunity to small business owners in San Diego County. By providing small business loans and support to entrepreneurs who lack access to traditional forms of credit, our goal is to help them create their dreams, provide for their families and contribute to their communities. ACCION San Diego runs a unique volunteer program that provides opportunities for individuals with varying levels of experience and education. Our program offers individuals a chance to volunteer their time to directly help ACCION San Diego and its clients. Volunteers may be highly experienced entrepreneurs, young professionals, or college students. If you are interested in volunteering with ACCION San Diego, there is a place for you!
