Support More Quality Housing, Jobs, Goods & Services

On Tuesday, April 28, the San Diego City Council will be making a decision on whether to approve a community plan amendment that will allow for mixed-use zoning (commercial retail and housing) in The Village at Market Creek and other parts of the southeastern San Diego community.  Approval of the amendment will create the opportunity for new developments that can make our community an even better place to live, work, play and do business.  Approval of the community plan amendment will help fulfill the dream envisioned by over a 1,000 residents through CNC's Euclid Market Action Team's (EMAT) planning process completed in the early 2000's.

Please join us at City Hall on Tuesday, April 28 to show your support for action that could lead to more quality housing, jobs, goods and services in our community.  Parking and traffic can be hectic Downtown, so a free bus will be available to all those interested in going.  The bus will leave the Joe and Vi Jacobs Center in Market Creek Plaza at 1:30 pm and we hope to return by 4:30 pm.  If you will drive on your own, please plan on being in the City Council Chambers on the 12th Floor of City Hall by 1:50 pm.  The meeting starts at 2 pm.

Please contact Kimberly Pecox-Alexander at (619) 527-6161 to RSVP for the bus.
