La Pastorela
Presented by EATRO M�SCARA M�GICA December 18-21, 2008
The Pastorela, the real Christmas tradition, is back. "La Pastorela de la Nueva Era" is TMM's newest twist on the traditional story of the shepherds' journey to Bethlehem to witness the first Christmas. Called to action by Archangels Michael and Gabriel, the shepherds face temptation and danger from evil Lucifer and his nasty minions. The bilingual script is primarily in English with beautiful Christmas carols sung in Spanish.
Dates: December 18, 19, 20, 21 Time: All nights 7:30pm with 2pm matinees on Saturday, December 20 and Sunday December 21. Tickets: $15 General Admission, $10 Student, Seniors, Military, $7 Groups of 10 or more.

Social Justice Summit: Inspiring Positive Change
Social Justice Summit, a collaborative initiative to train students in a social justice framework for campus leadership, community engagement, and change activism is here! The Social Justice Summit is a retreat for California State University San Marcos students during Winter Break, January 16-19. In a retreat setting, students will be able to explore social justice in depth and also challenge their personal perceptions through experiential activities, reflections, and group dialogues. If you know students who might be interested in or benefit from an opportunity like this one, we want to know!

WHAT IS LA VOZ? La Voz is a personal e-mail list that over the last 12 years has worked towards keeping the San Diego non-profit, Latino, and community at large connected . It consists of e-mail contacts that include students, educators, elected officials and their representatives, media, organizers and activist, clergy, non-profit executive directors, and business leaders. La Voz consists of three weekly e-mails consisting of community events, grant and funding opportunities, and job opportunities. Additionally La Voz reserves the right to send out ocassional e-mails on behalf of its community partners and sponors.
