Inspiring youth to say no to drugs and yes to their natural highs

“Natural High had its best day in Natural High history," says Founder Jon Sundt.

On Friday, October 28th, Muirlands Middle Schools had a special team of visitors, including Jon Sundt and teen advocates Megan Hastings and Allura Garis, at the side of celebrity, singing sensation Cassadee Pope.

Pope visited the middle school in La Jolla, California that morning to cue the premier showing of Natural High 5. Three hundred students filled the auditorium, and the rest of the student body viewed the simulcast in their classrooms. Following the film, Pope met the thousands of students at their athletic field to sign autographs and invite youth to PLEDGE to live Naturally High.

Through Pope's honest testimony, a unique community was created, and the students flocked to sign the Natural High PLEDGE banners. "I believe if a teen can see that they are not alone and there is an entire movement of people choosing to live Naturally High, they will PLEDGE to do the same and be strengthened in their decision to live drug free," says 17 year-old Megan Hastings who created The Natural High PLEDGE Campaign.

Natural High began with just a few of us. Today, more than 5 million youth are being reached. It started with the first Natural High DVD and is now growing into a cultural movement led by youth. We're honored to have engaged hundreds of middle schools and excited to have the chance to work with Cassadee Pope to carry out Natural High's vision to change culture.
