Pema Khandro Ling
1221 Luisa Street, Suite

Santa Fe, NM 87505
Ven. Sungtrul Rinpoche will
bestow the Amitayus (Buddha of Long Life) empowerment, a special treasure of
Pema Lingpa, and then will give a brief talk on the importance of venerating
sacred relics in Vajrayana Buddhism before giving blessings with one of the
relics (all the relics will be exhibited as well).
Rinpoche has brought with him
to the West a collection of 27 sacred and precious Vajrayana Buddhist relics
that have never before been outside of Bhutan and Tibet. The sacred relics include ringsel
(self-arising relic) from Guru Rinpoche's tooth, the Great Longchen Rabjampa's
seal and prayer bead, bone fragment from the first Pema Lingpa, script from
Vairotsana the Translator, belt fragment from Khandro Yeshe Tsogyal, and many
other precious objects. The relics
carry all of the blessings of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas from whom they
emanated and with whom they were connected. This is a rare opportunity to connect with the profound
blessings of these sacred objects.
