 VISA AVAILABILITY DURING THE COMING MONTHS: Great Opportunity for Those in the Know.
Visa Numbers are now
becoming available for individuals who filed their Labor Certification
Applications between August 1, 2002 and August 1, 2004
The Citizenship and Immigration Services (CIS) and the
Department of Labor still have a significant amount of cases in their backlog
reduction efforts. As a result, the
anticipated increase in demand for
Visas, which requires clearing that process, has not yet materialized and may
not for some time. In an effort to maximize VISA NUMBER use under the annual
numerical limit, the Worldwide and Philippines Employment Third preference
cut-off dates have been advanced by one year. Unless there is a significant increase in Employment Demand,
this rate of movement is expected to continue during the upcoming months. Such movement could be expanded to include
other chargeability areas and preference categories.
In conclusion, Visa Numbers are now becoming available. If you
or someone you know filed their Labor Certification Applications between August
