Message from the Executive Manager
As this edition of our E-news goes out, I will be in Mexico City representing the Centre at Enviro-Pro. Along with Darryl Seehagel, I am participating in a government-organized trade mission in an effort to develop what we see as tremendous potential for the Centre in this region. In previous newsletters, we've mentioned the contacts that we have already made in Mexico and, hopefully, future newsletters will bring news of positive results coming from the current trip.
In the meantime, the past month has been characterized by some very tangible developments in our operations. In response to the needs of a number of technology development and demonstration projects, the Centre has dramatically increased its technical staff. Also, to meet the demands of our growing training activities, we are advertising to fill the position of an Education Program Manager. It is exciting to see this growth and to know that it, in turn, will bring increased activity and development.
Regards,
Dr. Jerry Leonard, P.Eng., Executive Manager |
