PPC Member Renewal Benefit Rules

One of the benefits of being a PPC members is that you are eligible to enter the California State print competition and participate in the competition for many of PPC's Awards. When you enter print competition PPC awards PPC Fellowship merits for images scoring 76 or more points. Once you have achieved twenty merits you will then be awarded your PPC Fellowship medal in front of your fellow PPC members at the awards reception.

PPC also wards a medal for service to PPC and this is awarded after 25 merits are achieved. Information for all of this can be found in the member page on the PPC website, www.prophotoca.com

There is a caveat with this as well!

To be awarded these medals the rules state that you must have been a "continuous PPC member for the past three consecutive years"

If one of your goals is to achieve PPC Fellowship status, or be awarded a PPC Service medal you must make sure you do not let your membership lapse!

To assist you in this check out our article on paying dues monthly.

PPC continues to grow in strength, financially and in numbers. Our convention this year showed a very good profit and was the best attended ever. More than 3,000 people attended the trade show and spent a great deal of money!

The reason for the success is our conference and trade show is an intimate atmosphere where attendees can network, socialize, attend seminars, meet with vendors and the speakers all in an easy, friendly atmosphere, plus the incredible planning of the staff and volunteers!

We are currently planning a new series of the very popular California Sunday. These will be held in the month of September 2007 around the State, and will be held on numerous Sundays. If you want to be an instructor for one of them and receive PPA merits and FREE entrance to any other Ca. Sunday, e- mail the coordinator, Victoria Wispell at:

This is our first newsletter and we want to continue keeping you informed. Let us have your feedback, articles, what you might like to see, reviews of equipment you have used, celebrations, awards received, seminars attended or you are presenting.

Anything you might like other readers to know about.

This newsletter is your forum!

Sincerely,
