April 28, 2011 Windstorm

As you are well aware, we had a devastating storm experience in Niagara on April 28, 2011.  The windstorm demolished three of our sites, downed trees and power lines and ripped outdoor equipment from people's homes and businesses.  The worst impact was on our Jordan site which some of you connect to for internet service.  The rebuild was completed on Tuesday May 17.  Since last May 17th we've been verifying connectivity for everyone on that site and it appears we are back to 100%.

Clearly, we have a responsibility to do our best to restore service as quickly as possible, even when mother nature takes our network infrastructure out of service.  Although our guys built a tower in record time we know that this was a great inconvenience to you.  In an internet age, being without is not easy.

Thanks again for your patience.  We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future.
