| April & May |
April & May offer some of the highest catch rates of the year. Wade fishing is very rewarding and fishing from the boat provides non-stop action. Blue Wing Olives are present this time of year, and the trout eagerly gulp them down by the thousands. This incredible hatch presents anglers with plentiful opportunities to observe & stalk individual fish. When the weather nears 70 degrees, the terrestrial insects become active and big dry flies fish very well. It is not uncommon for grasshoppers to be present on the river April, and cicadas are commonly seen in May. |

 Thanks to everyone who entered last seasons Free Kids Fly Fishing Trip Contest. We had a great response, and thoroughly enjoyed the pictures of your kids fishing.
