TICO Travel Counsellor Exam Preparation

This program is designed for travel agency counsellors who wish to prepare for the TICO Travel Counsellor Education Standards Exam. All travel agency counsellors (including supervisors and managers of travel agency Registrants who themselves sell travel to the public) will be required to take and pass the exam no later than 01 July 2009.
The program consists of two 90-minute sessions, with a training instructor, and is conducted online as an interactive webinar. The two sessions are held on two consecutive days, and each student will be provided with a TICO Exam Quick Reference Online Study Guide to aid in learning and mastering the material expected in the TICO Travel Counsellor Exam. The PCI Webinar is a two hour web-based training program designed for travel agencies which store, process, or transmit cardholder data. IATA-accredited travel agencies are required to be PCI complaint in accordance with BSP Canada Communiqué 07/09 (click here for a copy) issued 26 March 2009. The PCI Webinar Program is interactive, conducted by an experienced trainer, and provided in English only.
For persons unable to attend the PCI Webinar, a pre-recorded, condensed version of the PCI Webinar is also available and can be played only on a PC. While the self-paced program is not-interactive, all key concepts of the PCI Webinar are included and viewers can play, replay, and listen to the trainer's presentation at their own pace.
