Greetings!
What an eventful year 2011 has been!
Even this month we saw Nelsonians dealing with massive floods, slips and loss of homes. Our thoughts are with all the families who have lost loved ones, homes and livelihoods.
We really hope the weather sorts itself out. It seems every few years we get wet, windy summers with footage of campsites flooded and tents blowing away; let's hope it's not this year!
For us it's a couple of weeks off with friends and family, then back to work on the 9th of January. I hope it goes slow as I love my summer break.
We would like to thank our clients and friends for your continued support and wish you all a safe festive season and a prosperous New Year!

Regards,
Tim Durrant and the Landscapedesign.co.nz team

Auckland's buzzing with new beekeeping service
Landscape company Natural Habitats has launched a beekeeping service in the Auckland region.
Bees can no longer survive in the wild in NZ, a shocking fact considering they are responsible for the pollination of 80% of plant species. Global decline in bee populations due to Varroa mite, pesticides, disease and loss of habitat is wiping out bees leading to reduced food crops around New Zealand and the world.
In response to the crisis, Logan Gilmour, a team leader in the Natural Habitats Garden Care Divison, is now a fully trained apiarist and the company offers a full range of beekeeping services.
