New Staff Profile |
 | Lucy McVicker |
Lucy came to the Secretariat of Pro-Life Activities last July. As a staff assistant, she supports the assistant directors and is responsible for research and communications. In high school, she attended World Youth Day in Toronto where the words of Pope John Paul II caught her attention: "Dear young people - Jesus is calling you to be the light of the world!" The Oregon native graduated from Portland State University where she chaired the pro-life club for two years. She is the oldest of four children and her parents worked diligently to instill a love for the faith in their children. In her free time, she enjoys sewing, baking, running, kayaking, hiking, and anything that gets her out of the city.
