FEARLESS and FABULOUS, a FREE EVENT on Saturday, February 23rd, 2008, 1:00 PM to 2:15PM. This is a class featuring all below the belt bootyliscious exercises that will lift your butt, and rock'in abdominal work that will sculpt your core.

Come to Movements Afoot for our FEARLESS and FABULOUS, a FREE EVENT, Saturday, February 23, 1:00PM - 2:15PM, a fun fabulous free event celebrating Pilates and our bodies.  Movements Afoot designed a Pilates class to help everyone discover the world of Pilates, the dreams of wellness and fitness and most of all fun.  Fifteen-minute classes will be given on all the Pilates equipment; reformers, towers and wunda chair as well as physioballs, foam rolls, Franklin balls, and Pilates mat.


Refreshments, Prizes and raffles will be given out at 2:30PM.  Prizes include private training, a group class card and more.

HISTORY OF MOVEMENTS AFOOT.

Lesley Powell founded Movements Afoot on May 1, 1993 with the philosophy of teaching people the basic concepts of movement theory: proper movement initiation, integrating breath with movement and spinal integrity. The execution of these philosophies and movement techniques will help equip people with the necessary tools for a lifetime of fitness and wellness. All training at Movements Afoot addresses every aspect of fitness needed to get 'grounded' for any activity, enhance athletic performance, and insure safer workout habits.

Movements Afoot has received a considerable amount of media attention including articles in Elle, Glamour, New Age Journal, O Magazine, the Village Voice, Shape Magazine, etc as well as television spotlights on Fox News, Lifetime and America's Talking.
