Reformers and Towers
reformers&towers Come to Movements Afoot for our REFORMERS AND TOWERS, Saturday, October 13 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, a fun free event celebrating Pilates and the search of the BodyMind connection. Movements Afoot is creating a Pilates game to help anyone discover the world of Pilates, the dreams of wellness and fitness and most of all fun. Half hour classes will be given on all the Pilates equipment; reformers, towers and wunda chair as well as physioballs, foam rolls, Franklin balls, and Pilates mat.

Refreshments, Prizes and raffles will be given out at 12:30. Prizes include private training, a group class card and more.

HISTORY OF MOVEMENTS AFOOT.

Lesley Powell founded Movements Afoot on May 1, 1993 with the philosophy of teaching people the basic concepts of movement theory: proper movement initiation, integrating breath with movement and spinal integrity. The execution of these philosophies and movement techniques will help equip people with the necessary tools for a lifetime of fitness and wellness. All training at Movements Afoot addresses every aspect of fitness needed to get 'grounded' for any activity, enhance athletic performance, and insure safer workout habits.

Movements Afoot has received a considerable amount of media attention including articles in Elle, Glamour, New Age Journal, O Magazine, the Village Voice, Shape Magazine, etc as well as television spotlights on Fox News, Lifetime and America's Talking.
