Tax sites top $10 million in refunds for low-income families

 

United Way of Snohomish County: Mike

 

Mike Dunn loves solving puzzles. That's why he LIVES UNITED by preparing income taxes for low-income families.

 

Mike is one of 135 volunteers this year at United Way tax preparation sites. Since 2007, volunteers have prepared 6,259 returns for $10.3 million in refunds for low-income families.

National Volunteer Week April 10-16
Mariners honor volunteers with $8 tickets

United Way of Snohomish County: National Volunteer WeekNational Volunteer Week celebrates ordinary people doing extraordinary things to improve their communities. Get involved!

  • Attend the Mariners Salute to Volunteers on Tuesday, April 12 at 7:10 p.m. Tickets are $8 for "view reserved" and $25 for "field level." Order tickets.  
  • April 16 is Youth United's Global Youth Service Day at Depot Park, planting annuals, weeding and making the park grounds sparkle. (Read more.)
