Campaign update
Preliminary results show strong support
Fall is the busiest time for United Way fundraising campaigns. Thanks to all donors and companies who are responding generously to our community's needs-some far surpassing the "10 More" goal over what they gave last year. Here are some preliminary results:
- Fred Meyer stores: +173%
- Stillaguamish Senior Center: +88%
- Triumph Structures - Everett: +55%
- Campbell's StockPot: +28%
- Premera Blue Cross: +11%

Local restaurants support United Way
"10 More Makes a Difference" campaign raises $4,200
Thanks to local restaurants who participated in the "10 More Makes a Difference" campaign, raising more than $4,200 to help kids, families and our community: Chanterelle, The Loft, Pine Street Grille at the Holiday Inn Downtown Everett, LaCuesta Mexican Restaurant, Lanna Thai, La Palmera (Everett and Mill Creek), Nakorn Thai, Shawn O'Donnell's American Grill and Irish Pub, Sockeye's, Amici Bistro, Mukilteo Lodge Sports Grille, Blackbird Bakery Café and Gerry Andal's. Thanks also to sponsors Fox Sports 1380 (KRKO) and 90.7 KSER-FM Independent Public Radio.

MLK Jr. Community Celebration to take place Jan. 12
Community encouraged to attend free events commemorating Dr. King's life

Starting with the annual Diversity Breakfast at Everett's Holiday Inn, community members can celebrate Dr. King's legacy throughout the day. All events are free and open to the public; however, reservations are required for the breakfast. Sponsored by the City of Everett, Snohomish County, United Way of Snohomish County and the YMCA of Snohomish County.
