Earth Healing Day - August 15th - A Day of Prayer !
From noon to 1:00pm in successive time zones around the world,
participants from all over the planet will dedicate a special
hour of prayer and/or meditation -- focusing on the healing and
cleansing of the Earth.
The goal is to promote a wave of spiritual healing energy that embraces the globe over a 24-hour time period.
As Christians we continue to pray for all of God's
creation. We invite everyone to pause in the course of your activities on August 15th and participate in this concerted, focused
time of prayer, from noon to 1pm -- wherever you may be at that particular time.
From the Book of Common Prayer -
Almighty God, in giving us dominion over things on earth,
you made us fellow workers in your creation: Give us wisdom and
reverence so to use the resources of nature, that no one may suffer from
our abuse of them, and that generations yet to come may continue to
praise you for your bounty; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
