Just a quick note to remind you of two special opportunities this week - and an early reminder of the upcoming March 17 Annual Fish Fry.
1. First, tomorrow (Sunday, February 28th), after the coffee hour at church (@ 11:30am) -- Tina Hill will present some new information about the McHenry County 2030 Land Use Plan, and a discussion will follow. The intent of this session is to present and discuss . . . and not to persuade. Tina is interested in our responses and concerns, as she formulates her own opinion for the County Board. Take advantage of this opportunity if the subject is of interest to you.
2. Second, next Friday, March 5th - at 7:30pm, in our Parish Hall -- we are very pleased that Marianna Wolfmeyer will present an information session: "Wills, Trusts, & Charitable Gifts - Planning Your Legacy."
Marianna is the an Oncology Chaplain and Grief Counselor at Centegra Health Systems. She is a Christian uniquely qualified to lead this session in light of her current professional position, as well as her previous education and training as an attorney.
3. Don't forget our Annual Fish Fry is coming up - Friday, March 19th, at 6:30pm. Tickets will be on sale tomorrow after Church, and the sign-up sheets are in the Parish Hall. Please contact Joan/Rob Purdy (815-338-7092) with questions/comments.
