St. Ann's Outreach Committee
A Report and Request for Your Thoughts
 
The following summarizes the work to date by your Outreach Committee

The Context
-      St. Ann's has an available budget for Outreach in the community.
-      Our community, as with much of the nation and the world, has many experiencing hardship and hunger.

Committee's Outreach Vision
-      Focuses on food and nourishment.
       "...for I was hungry and you gave me food..."  Matthew 25.
-      Focuses on our local community
           Those of us who are fed at the altar of St. Ann's share nourishing companionship
           and food with our neighbors.
-      Projects involve parishioners who offer their time, energy and talent, and not just provide money.
-      Where possible, partner with existing community resources to leverage our impact.
 
Projects that might point the way toward realizing this vision:

____ Working in a garden at St. Ann's to help supply the local community
              and food pantries with fresh vegetables.

____ Making/serving pizzas for (and hanging out with) Woodstock high school students.

____ Volunteering in the Woodstock Food Pantry.

____ Volunteering at Woodstock Area Community Ministries (WACM).

____ Volunteering/cooking/serving at the Woodstock PADS site on selected Wednesday nights.

____ Volunteering/cooking/serving at the Woodstock PADS luncheon on selected Thursday mornings.

____ Working on an additional project that you think the committee may not have considered, such as:
