A Report and Request for Your Thoughts
The following summarizes the work to
date by your Outreach Committee
The Context
-
St. Ann's has an available budget for Outreach in the
community.
-
Our community, as with much of the nation and the world, has
many experiencing hardship and hunger.
Committee's
Outreach Vision
-
Focuses on food and nourishment.
"...for I was hungry
and you gave me food..." Matthew 25.
-
Focuses on our local community Those of us who are fed at the altar of
St. Ann's share nourishing companionship and food with our neighbors.
-
Projects involve parishioners who offer their time,
energy and talent, and not just provide money.
-
Where possible, partner with existing community resources to
leverage our impact.
