Just a quick reminder about 3 things: 1) The Apple Tree Project ends Sunday (August 2nd)
2) The Book Group meets Sunday (August 2nd)
3) The Parish Picnic is NEXT Sunday (August 9th)
1. The Apple Tree Project is when we provide school supplies for underprivileged children in our school district. You may participate by bringing school supplies and placing them under the Apple Tree in the parish hall, or by donating cash for supplies that our volunteers will purchase. EVERYONE may contribute.
2. The Book Group selection is "The Scalpel and the Soul" - by Dr. Allen Hamilton. The group will meet Sunday afternoon at 4:00pm, August 2nd, at the Castillo home. Call Vince/Victoria Castillo for directions: (815) 337-9117 EVERYONE is welcome.
3. Sunday, August 9th, after the morning Eucharist -- we will enjoy our annual Parish Picnic Brunch. If you think you might attend the brunch, please let us know in advance by signing up in the Parish Hall this weekend, by calling Joan Purdy (815) 338-7092, or by sending an e-mail to the church office: office@stannswoodstock.org - EVERYONE is welcome.
