GEEK THE LIBRARY
The Lampasas Public Library is launching a fun, interactive awareness campaign called "Geek the Library." The campaign highlights what people are passionate about - what they 'geek' -- and how libraries can support them, in an effort to heighten awareness about the vital role of libraries as well as critical funding issues public libraries face. Local businesses, organizations, and residents will also have the opportunity to join the fun and share what they geek. Over the next year or so, library staff and volunteers will be at various community events with their geek table, geek boards, and geek goodies, so be on the lookout for them!
